Selena Gomez put on a brave face for fans at Sundance film festival, despite a recent alleged text spat with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
The 21-year-old actress was spotted smiling and posing for photographs with co star Billy Crudup and director William. H. Macy to promote her new film Rudderless on Monday at the 2014 film festival.
The brunette star looked polished in a long dark black buttoned coat, skinny denim jeans, black boots and a black turtle neck sweater, amid reported explicit rows with the 19-year-old Baby singer.

Perhaps reeling from the harsh exchange of words, the Spring Breakers actress looked downbeat as she walked between photoshoots in Park City, Utah.

It was made public this week that ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, 19, had sent her a slur of vile and insulting text messages following the recent raid on his home.
RadarOnline reported the duo had a fight last week after Bieber's house was raided by police, and after she allegedly called him a 'drug addict', he hit back, texting her: 'F**K YOU!!!!! I need to grow up? HA ok! Enjoy life with OUT ME B***H (sic).'

While Justin's reps had no comment, Selena's camp was swift to issue a denial.

The couple, who have dated on-off since 2011, have sparked rumours they may be back together after being spotted near his home, and on holiday together in Northern California.
The website reported that Selena wrote, 'I don’t buy that bulls**t anymore. I was honest with you and I gave you a second chance. All my friends were right, You’re such an a*****e.'
Radar reports that Bieber then allegedly messaged Selena a picture of himself in an aroused state, prompting her to ask him to 'stop it' and urged him to listen to his manager and go to rehab. The Spring Breakers actress then blasted him for letting pal Lil Za take the blame for possession of drugs at the Boyfriend singers home.
